Philadelphia was in the midst of an unseasonably warm spell yesterday but the 70 degree temperature outside was nothing compared to the heat inside Kung Fu Necktie in Fishtown last evening.
The sold out crowd packed into the venue to see Darwin Deez perform his quirky brand of indie-pop music…and perform he did.
Take equal parts crazy hair, mustaches, pink guitars, choreographed dance moves, audience participation, and Willy Wonka, combine on stage, and bake in an oven-like club atmosphere and you’ll have a nice fresh batch of the Darwin Deez experience.
Keep an eye out for his self-titled debut album which is set to be released in the U.S. on Tuesday (already a UK sensation).
