November 29, 2025 – Villanova, PA — An Ivy League dream season turned into a nightmare for the Harvard Crimson when Villanova crushed them in round-1 of the FCS Championship Playoffs, 52-7.
Harvard earned their first post-season appearance in 105 years – yep, since 1920 – after wining their 3rd straight Ivy League championship this season. But they were dominated on both sides of the ball, and never got any momentum after the coin toss.

Nova racked up 512 total yards, with Patrick McQuaide throwing for 193 yards and 3 TDs to Luke Colella, Lucas Kopecky, and Antonio Johnson. The 4 rushing touchdowns were scored by McQuaide, Isaiah Ragland, Ja’briel Mace, and Julian Glantz. Ragland led the rushers with 152 yards.

Villanova, who entered the playoffs as a 12 seed, will travel to Bethlehem, PA to battle unbeaten and 3rd ranked Lehigh next Saturday.
