November 16, 2024 – Philadelphia, PA — It was a festive Star Wars game in Philly, and the Flyers beat the (Light)Sabres, 5-2!
The Flyers offense jumped on a 2 goal lead in the first period and never looked back, thanks to Tyson Foerster (71) and Travis Sanheim (6). Egor Zamula (5) would tack on another goal early in the second period.
Flyers’ winger Travis Konecny (11) lead the scoring with 2 goals and an assist. And star rookie Matvei Michkov (39) added 2 sweet assists in the dominant win.
Adding to the celebrations, Flyers’ Erik Johnson (77) played in his 1,000th career game over 17 seasons!
