November 19, 2023 – Philadelphia, PA — In ex-Flyer Ivan Provorov’s first return to the Wells Fargo Center since being traded, the Flyers dominated the Columbus Blue Jackets in 5-2 win.
Philly started the scoring in the first period when Joel Farabee (86) scored, assisted by Ryan Poehling (25) and Cam York (8). But Columbus’ Alexandre Texier (42) scores later to end the period tied 1-1.
In the second, Bobby Brink (10) and Peohling added 2 more goals before Blue Jacket’s Boone Jenner (38), assisted by Provorov, netted a goal to end the period 3-2.
The third period belonged the the Flyers, with 2 more goals from Travis Konecny (11) and York to close out the physical win.
