November 11, 2023 – Villanova, PA — Dominant – that’s how Villanova handled the visiting Towson Tigers in a 33-10 blowout on a picturesque Fall day.
The Wildcats took control of the game right from the start, amassing 555 total yards! Rayjuon Pringle (#19) scored on a 79-yard TD pass from Connor Watkins (#4) to open the offensive attack. Pringle later caught another TD bomb from Watkins in the 2nd quarter. Jaylan Sanchez (#82) took another pass to the endzone, and Matthew Mercurio (#39) kicked a 25-yard field goal to close the first half, 24-0 Nova.
TD Ayo-Durojaiye (#1) pounded his way for another TD run in the 3rd quarter. And the ‘Cats defense scored last for the ‘Cats with a safety in the 4th, holding the Tigers to 211 total yards for the day.
