Villanova crushed rival Delaware 55-33 on Senior Day

Villanova, PA – November 23, 2019 — If you follow any level of football you, will rarely see an offensive performance like Villanova’s senior Wide Receiver Changa Hodge put up against rival Delaware, in route to a 55-33 victory. Hodge tallied 8 catches for 236 total yards and 4 touchdowns! And the Wildcats were hungry for more.

While both teams each had over 500 total offensive yards, Nova dominated the game with 8 touchdowns, including 4 touchdown pass connections from Daniel Smith to Hodge, and a solo TD run by Smith.

  • Nova – QB Daniel Smith 3 yard run for a touchdown
  • Nova – Wide Receiver Zac Kerxton on a 33-yard TD pass from Smith
  • Delaware – Running Back Will Knight 68-yard TD run

The decisive win against Delaware ended Villanova’s regular season with a record of 9-3. The FCS playoff picture is shaping up nicely for the Wildcats, which should become clearer this week.
