August 30, 2021 – Millville, NJ — The Road to Indy, the ladder program for IndyCar professional open-wheeled racing, returned to New Jersey Motorsports Park for an exciting weekend of auto racing.
The shining moment of the weekend occurred when rookie Myles Rowe drove a skillful race, and became the first African-American racer to win a USF2000 series event!
Rowe drives for a new African-American owned team called Force Indy, lead by Principal Rod Reid and a mentorship alliance with Roger Penske’s Team Penske.
The drivers faced challenging and ever-changing weather conditions on the second day, which led to several cars leaving the slippery track.
Full racing results can be found at Indy Pro 2000 and USF2000.
