December 6, 2019 – West Chester, PA — It’s that time of year, and the Holiday season around Philadelphia is in full swing! The 40th annual QVC West Chester Christmas Parade helped with a festive kickoff throughout the town. QVC continued as the title sponsor, and 6abc’s Adam Joseph returned as Master of Ceremonies and commentator, along with QVC hosts Dan Hughes and Carolyn Gracie.

The parade has grown each year, thanks to Under the Sun Productions Inc., and is recognized by USA Today as “one of the top 10 places to see the arrival of Santa” in the US. This year an estimated 45,000 came out to enjoy themselves, many who have made attending this parade a family tradition.

Before the start, there was a 2-mile US Air Force Jingle Elf Run along the parade route, where participants of all ages competed while being dressed in their finest elf attire.

There was also a Holiday Village with an inflatable snow globe (that you can actually step into), Berenstain Bears in person, a pedal-karts race track, a giant trampoline, and incredible Christmas music playing throughout the town.

And the parade itself did not disappoint! For almost 2 hours, there was non-stop excitement with over 20 high school bands, antique cars, festive dancers, floats, pageant winners, live entertainment, and so much more. This is a must-attend holiday event in the Philadelphia region!

You can watch the full spectacle when QVC broadcasts the parade across the nation on Christmas day!
