November 13, 2021 – Villanova, PA — The Wildcats of Villanova handled the Stony Brook Seawolves 33-14 in a physical match on Senior Day, where over thirty 4, 5 and 6-year seniors were recognized. The strong wind and rain also played a role limiting the offense in the first half.

Villanova started the scoring with a 10-yard run by Jalen Jackson (36). Jackson would also score on a 4-yard TD run in the 2nd quarter, and finish the day with over 100 rushing yards. Justin Covington (1) lead the rushing for Nova with 142 total yards, including an 83-yard sideline run.

Jaaron Hayek (11) had a stellar day with 42 receiving yards and 2 TDs in the second half. And it was really great to see tight end Tyler Wills (0), bouncing back from a scary injury earlier in the season during the Penn State game, catch a 2-yard TD pass from Daniel Smith (12).

Villanova’s defense was lead by Forrest Rhyne (43) with 11 tackles, Amin Black (29) with 10 tackles and 1 sack, and Malik Fisher (92) with 8 tackles and a sack.
