August 29, 2020 – Chester, PA — The Philadelphia Union continued their undefeated streak (since the season restart) with a decisive 4-1 win over visiting D.C. United.  The victory continued their 7-game win streak against the D.C. club, and is the Union’s longest win-streak against an individual MLS club.

The Union dominated D.C. from the start of the night, which later was played in a steady rain. Season goal leader #23-Kacper Przybylko (4 goals to date) kicked off the scoring with 2 goals in the first half.  The Union netted a 3rd goal before the half break by #17-Sergio Santos, which proved to be the fastest 3 goals in Union history.

In the second half, #22-Brenden Aaronson added another goal for Philly on an assist from #15-Olivier Mbaizo and Przybylko.  D.C. did managed to net one from Julian Gressel, but that was it as Union goalkeeper Andre Blake continued to rack up the saves with 34 so far this season.

Next up for Philly is a road-trip match against the Columbus Crew on September 2nd.  Their next home game on September 12th is against the New England Revolution.
