Don’t Forget Me is her third critically acclaimed album and, hands down, my favorite of the trio. It has a pop-rock flare while keeping the melodic core of the first two. Don’t Forget Me incorporates upbeat, catchy melodies with the self-examining lyrics Rogers is known and loved for.

As she slowly rose from an elevator in the center of the stage, surrounded by fog, she was cloaked in a full-length silver, sequined cape, exploding into “That’s What I Am” from her ’22 sophomore album, Surrender. This got the fans off their feet and hands in the air. The next three: “Drunk,” “So Sick of Dreaming,” and “The Kill” were all from Don’t Forget Me. From her 20-song setlist, over a third came from Don’t Forget Me.

Watching her move on stage is transfixing. It seems the music rises within her and channels throughout her body. She controls the stage with her passion and dynamism. Her strong and beautiful voice hit all the high notes with flawlessness—you just stand, stare, and listen with awe.

A Maggie Rogers concert is a place to go, to dance, to sing. With her soulful voice, sexy stage presence, and authentic spirit, she shows everyone why she is one of music’s true forces.
