Lights Out: Mad River Olde City Edition

We’re going to make this one short and sweet. After three days of 100+ degree heat indexes in Philadelphia, the oppressive weather finally broke on Friday night, June 22nd.

After some crazy big thunderstorms, it was time for House of Hearts to put a new twist on Olde City as they brought their Lights Out party to the cobble-stoned party of Chestnut Street for the first time.

Mad River played host to the black light party which featured party people decked out in white and neon gear, body painting, glow sticks, and some excellent tunes courtesy of Amenzo, Johhny V, and Dan “LoveCityDJs” Fisher.

The Lights Out parties are quickly becoming a staple in and around Philadelphia and we always have a blast covering them.

The next two Lights Out parties in Philly will take place in University City at The Blockley. The July 6th edition will feature headliner Minnesota and the August 10th show will feature headliner K-Drew. Unlike tonight’s party which was 21+, the next two events will be 18+.
