October 18, 2025 – Villanova, PA — In a one-sided match, the FCS 15th ranked Villanova Wildcats dominated the Hampton Pirates at home 56-14.
Nova’s QB Pat McQuaide passed for 166 yards and 5 TDs each to a different receiver. By the end of the first half, the rout was on with the Wildcats leading 49-0.
On the other side of the ball, the Cats’ defense held the Pirates to 32 yards in the first half, and a game total of 14 points despite Hampton possessing the ball 34 minutes vs. Nova’s 26 minutes. And defensive lineman Obinna Nwobodo returned a forced fumble from Braden Davis for another Nova score.
