March 8, 2025 – Philadelphia, PA — It was the Flyers’ Marvel Super Hero Game on a Saturday afternoon, but there was no heroic effort to be seen.

Philadelphia opened the scoring with a blazing first period shot from Owen Tippet (77), but quickly lost steam after that to fall to the Seattle Kraken 4-1.

This was the first game after the Flyers traded their beloved teammate Scott Laughton to Toronto, and it was apparent that the locker room still felt the sting.

After having momentum from the late period goal, the Philadelphia fizzled over the remainder of the game. Flyers came up empty in 5 power play chances, and gave up a short-handed goal to Seattle.

Philly will regroup tomorrow for another afternoon game against New Jersey.
