October 26, 2024 – Philadelphia, PA — Captain Sean Couturier (14) scored 3 goals and an assist to lift the Flyers 7-5 over the Minnesota Wild, including their superstar Kirill Kaprizov (97). The win ended a 6-game losing streak for the Flyers!
The Flyers needed this victory, entering the match with a 2-6 record early in the season. Gritty was ready to fight, and the fans also needed a win.
Helping out on offense was Travis Konecny (11) with a goal and 3 assists, Nick Seeler (24) with a goal and assist, and star rookie Matvei Michkov (39) with his first non-powerplay goal for Philly. And Rasmus Ristolainen (55) scored the go-ahead goal late in the 3rd period.
