Budweiser Made in America Festival: Philly Makes History Again

The Budweiser Made in America Festival was a first in Philadelphia’s storied history. While the Ben Franklin Parkway has played host to huge events (such as Thanksgiving Day Parade, July 4th concert, and Live-8), never before had a ticketed concert event been held.

The two day event had been building quite a buzz since it was announced by Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter and rap mogul Jay-Z a few months ago.

Boasting a wide range of artists across an array of musical genres, three stages, food, VIP areas, and of course, Budweiser, the event kicked off two full days of concerts on Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
