30,000 Eagles fans watch preseason practice

August 7, 2022 – Philadelphia — As they do each year, the Eagles held their public training camp practice at the Linc this weekend. Over 30,000 fans – yes 30K – attended to get their first in-person glimpse at the 2022-23 team, including several rookies and new draft picks.

It was a special night, and all ticket proceeds will benefit the Eagles Autism Foundation. Currently, this totals more than $350,000!

Outside of the stadium was a carnival-like environment. Families enjoyed Eagles alumni autographs, photos with SWOOP and Eagles Cheerleaders, Drumline and Pep Band performances, games, face painting, and more!

Inside the Linc, 10 competitive practice sessions were held, including an all-contact segment as a precursor for the first preseason game on Friday night against the NY Jets. While most of the starters will see limited playing time in the first quarter, be sure to check out the rest of the pre-cuts squad.
