August was a whirlwind month for the Wildcats. They played a series of games in Europe early in the month against several national teams. In mid-to-late August, junior Isaiah Armwood notified the school that he would be transferring before the upcoming season. The month ended with the news that 2012 recruit Savon Goodman, a 6-6 forward (Academy of the New Church), has decommitted from his verbal agreement to play for Villanova. Goodman, who is widely regarded as a top 50 recruit, will also switch high schools for his upcoming senior year.
