2017 Philadelphia Auto Show Preview

Published On January 27, 2017 | Around Town

The 2017 Philadelphia Auto Show returns to the Pennsylvania Convention Center for a 9 day run beginning tomorrow, Saturday, January 28th, 2017 through Sunday, February 5th, 2017. The Philadelphia Auto Show is always one of our favorite Philly events and each year look forward to getting a sneak peak at the cars and displays on Media Day before the show opens to the public.

This year’s show is, one again, jam packed with tons to see and do for car enthusiasts of all levels. Instead of shooting an insane amount of photos this year, we focused on our favorite cars and experiences at the Philly Auto Show.

The Ride-A-Longs are always a blast and this year is no exception. Jeep has the most impressive indoor Ride-A-Long with an upgraded course that will have the vehicle traversing reverse potholes, steep inclines and declines, and even stairs.

There are a wide array of rare and classic cars in 2017, which is always one of our favorite things to check out. If brand new cars are more your thing, you’ll be able to spend an entire day at the Auto Show and probably not see every single car on display. There are even some 2018 pre-production cars you can check out.

One of the coolest additions this year are a staple of iconic movie cars including the Delorean from ‘Back To The Future’, the 1966 Batmobile, and the Shaggin’ Wagon Mutt Cutts van from ‘Dumb and Dumber’ (unless they happen to trade it straight up for a moped before the show opens tomorrow).

Exotic cars always make us green with envy whether it’s a $400,000 Rolls Royce, or a $250,000 Lamborghini. Thankfully, looking at these beauties up close will only cost you the price of admission to the Philadelphia Auto Show.

On the first floor of the Convention Center, you can find the DUB Show which features 100,000 square feet of tricked out, customized rides. Need some ideas about how to spruce up your new or old ride? This is the place for you!
